Thanks to Sarah for such a cute & delicious flower cake. She even made all of the candy flowers.
Megan's Friends.
What's a Flower Party you may ask? It is one where you paint pots and then plant flowers. We realized after the fact that washable paint is nice, but doesn't last very long when the rain hits. I think that it is the craft that just keeps going. Paint, Rain, Paint, Rain...
Megan is taking after her Grammy and celebrating her birthday for a solid week with different people. She started off with a Dora party at her Great-Aunt and Uncle's house. Then she celebrated a joint BD with her Daddy and Uncle Daniel with the Mesa family. Her big event was on her actual birthday with a "Flower Party" with her friends. Finally we ended the celebration with a dinner party with the Cromling gang. Her presents included board games, craft supplies, books, clothes, picnic table, bicycle, and Polly Pockets. She has enjoyed all of them, but surprisingly the Polly Pockets (Fashion Diva & Cinderella) have given her hours of independent playtime. This is nice for me! However it is hard to imagine since I never even liked playing with Barbies, which are similiar. All of the other things we play together.
